When Lee and I arrived at Wingstop, he told me that he got me something for Valentine’s Day. I was trying to tell him that I didn’t want anything because I didn’t want him to spend any money. Underneath his jacket, he was holding a bottle that contained 4 white carnations. He said that he got them at no cost. When I saw them, my face lit up so much! He told me, “I know you’re the kind of guy that likes to receive flowers, so here you go!” And then he gave me a card. He made it during Spanish class. I thought it was so cute and sweet. If you look closely, you’ll see what he translated into Spanish. Today was a wonderful Valentine’s Day. Just a simple, heartfelt time spent with Lee. It was perfect.
